running rich

im going to be looking at a 89 240 its all stock with a ka and he is saying it "started running rich"
what could that mean? he is saying it can be a sensor? if that is not the case, what is the biggest problem that can possibly be causing it to run rich?
this will be my DD as well as a fun Weekend car thumbsup.gif

Could be a lot of things but most likely a bad fuel pressure regulator or injectors.

Like Mestiso said check FPR and injectors...Nissans are notorious for adding fuel when anything goes wrong. Check codes.

is changing/checking the Fpr and injectors an easy thing to do? a half a day job?
