so i just picked up an auto 240. its a 91 coupe some of you might have seen it or even driven it.

i want to have some fun in this thing till i get some more cash saved for a 5 speed. so what are some good pointers/tips for sliding an auto?

Well since I am sure you have no money to spend like all the other kids I meet all I will say is you just need seat time. Start by doing circles/donuts and doing one corner at a time.

WHat I normally tell people is change all ur bushings to E.S. bushings and then get a good alignment.

As for sliding an automatic it's all about weight transfer, don't use the fucking e brake and don't use anything other than 1st gear. Just start doing circles once you can do a perfect circle then make it wider and smaller go on to doing single corners, hit the corner one way then turn around and hit the other way. Don't try to manji/dori until you have the other stuff mastered.

It's stupid hard to explain by typing how to initiate an auto slide so I am not even going to try, I will have to tell you in person or show you. The technique is easy to do just hard to type lol... like i said tho it's all wieght transfer.
