Ok not sure if this is the right spot to put it but my check engine light went on and my gas mileage has gone to complete crap i have to put more gas in it like 2 times a week and i just go to school and hobby shop during the week and by putting gas in it useually put about 30$ in it this is killing me

Gas Mileage?!?!?

Figure out what code your ECU is throwing and fix it, problem solved. Nissan's get shit mileage when the check engine light is on.

There is small knob on the side of your ECU, with the key in the "ON" posistion turn the knob clockwise till it stops and then back. Now count the blinks of your checck engine light.

good thing i screwed it up so now its reset and no check engine light so do i just have to wait for it to get tripped again to find out what it is

Amen to shit gas mileage. I think I'm getting about 8 miles a gallon with mine on. If it is anything like my ecu it will trip again, but then again I was throwing just about every code in the book.

really mine hasn't tripped again yet but i think it may of tripped it originally when sliding but 8miles to a gallon damn thats bad im getting about 12-15 when i used to get about 23-24 havent checked the highway mileage tho havent gone anywhere really
