Cool vids, Im not a fan of the tail lights and hood on the first vid other than that its pretty clean. LOL on the second vid... I always love to watch mustangs get beat by import cars, hehehehe. That last one doesn't surprise me, honda's have always had the smallest displacement engine's of the import cars, minus the rotary mazda's that is. Which is most likely why it got beat, but the ITR was not designed to be a straight line speed car it was meant to be tracked. Thats why it has a near 50/50 weight ratio from the factory, put the same two cars on the track and the type r will prolly take it.

The hood is made to give the supercharger more room, since everything is cramped. I think the ITR has a 1.8 liter, like the celica GT or GTS. Im not really sure, now im jumpin to your side of the street, but I think if they were both stock, the ITR whould take the GTS.

O i thought the Celica had a 2L motor in it... my bad and yes the ITR has a 1.8L motor. If they were stock I would think the gearing on the ITR would take the celica. I just thought the celica had a larger displacment motor and some other mods too.

Nope, mine is a 1.8L GT w/ VVT-i, and a GTS is 1.8L w/ VVTL-i. GTS runs higher compression, and the lift in the variable valve timing makes a difference. Aside from that, its a six speed, and has 180hp stock. Mine has a 5 speed with 140hp stock. The older celicas have bigger motors, but have 130 horses, unless it has turbo.
I heard you could run about 12psi of boost on a GTS motor with stock internals. Just some random info.

I c, the six speed will help out a lot on the GTS version as the ITR is only a 5 speed, but it should be a close race in either case.

Well, we can do this, I get a TCGTS, and you get an ITR. We will keep them stock, and race em to c who comes out on top, you may have an advantage cuz ITR rev higher, near 8k. GTS rev about 7800. That means you can stretch your gears out a lil longer than I can. I jus got more to go through, so more chances of mistakes for me.
